Two recent scientific studies have produced results that will confirm what that our brains are different and what most women know already, namely that men only listen with one half of their brains.
The researchers at Indiana University, using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) scanned the brains of 40 men and women while they listened to someone reading from a John Grisham novel. The images showed activity in the temporal lobe but only on the left side of the brain, Women showed activity on both sides of the brain with most of it on the left.

Men and women have very different brain designs. University of California, Irvine researchers have found that men have more grey matter which is commonly believed to indicate intelligence and to be the seat of information processing centers. White matter appears to have a major role in the neural connecting pathways between the processing centers.
Rex Jung, the co-author of the study, believes the results of the study may help to explain why men seem to be more mathematical and scientific and women better at languages.
